Post: Cleaning Up The Sreets” Chambers Drug Task Force Arrest 41 On Various Drug Charges

On Monday, Captain Robert Chambers with the Chambers County Sheriff’s Department and Project Director with the Chambers County Drug Task Force issued a press release to the Chambers Ledger regarding the arrest of 41 individuals on 84 charges on the execution of 10 search warrants, over three months.

“From 11/2/2022 – 2/2/2023 Agents of the Chambers CountyDrug Task Force/ Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force, Chambers County Multi-Jurisdictional SWAT Team, Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, Valley Police Department, Lafayette Police Department, and the Lanett Police Department conducted numerous operations, traffic stops, and search warrants that resulted in the execution of 10 search warrants, and the arrest of 41 individuals on 84 charges”, said Chambers,

4. William Wright 38 of Lanett – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine) – Possession of Marijuana 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
5. Keith Towles 49 of Lanett – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
6. Gregory Carlisle 39 of Lanett – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Pills) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
