On Monday, during the City of Lanett called mayor and council meeting,, the council recognized seventeen year old Jaquarious Barnes who recently flew a solo flight from Atlanta to Lanett. Councilwoman Angelia Finley Thomas read a proclamation for Barnes.
Congratulations to Barnes who was surrounded by family and friends on this historic night of achievement.
