Last month the 2024 Alabama legislative session came to a close without <\/span><\/span>HB 238<\/span> also known as the <\/span>FAIR Meds Act<\/span> making it to the House floor for a vote despite it having been passed unanimously by the House Insurance Committee on March 6th.  <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Alliance of Alabama Healthcare Consumers<\/span>, were instrumentel is passing the bill <\/span><\/span>HB 238,<\/span> which some referr to as a <\/span>“$10.<\/span>64 pharmacy<\/span><\/span><\/a> tax”.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
