WEST POINT, GA-<\/strong> A traffic shift was initiated on 9-21-24 as traffic was placed into the roundabout configuration at SR 103, SR 18, I-85 northbound and I-85 southbound ramps. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span><\/span>According to GA DOT, the shift is needed so the section of the roadway which is currently used as the left turn lane onto I-85 NB & SB can be reconstructed. The signals at the ramps will be removed, and traffic will be able to access the on-ramps and off-ramps through, the roundabout configuration. Signs, striping, and pavement markings will facilitate traffic until the center and islands can be constructed for each roundabout.<\/span><\/p>\n
