Last week, Springwood Seniors <\/span>Joel Davidson & Carson Champion<\/span> were selected as this year’s <\/span>Mr. and Miss SHS. The distinction of <\/span>Mr. and Miss SHS is a Wildcat tradition and <\/span>is a recognition received annually by one male and one female student who is a member of the senior class. They are selected by the senior <\/span><\/a><\/span>class and faculty and staff. The following attributes are considered in the selection process:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n
1. Character – Positive role model, kind, friendly<\/div>\n
2. Attitude \u2013 Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, respectful of school policies<\/div>\n
3. Trustworthy \u2013 Maintains high integrity<\/div>\n
4. Behavior & Conduct \u2013 Exemplary, free of major discipline infractions<\/div>\n
5. Academics \u2013 Maintains (at minimum) a 3.0 GPA<\/div>\n
6. Leadership \u2013 Willing and able to lead others by taking initiative<\/div>\n
7. School spirit \u2013 Participates in extra-curricular activities<\/div>\n
8. Involved \u2013 at Springwood in multiple ways (clubs, sports, and service)<\/div>\n
9. Motivated \u2013 To be successful<\/div>\n
10. Heart for Community Service \u2013 Volunteers’ time and service<\/span><\/div>\n
