OPELIKA, AL (June 18, 2024) \u2014 Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) and Southern Union State Community College (SUSCC) have recently entered into a collaboration aimed at enhancing educational opportunities. The partnership, solidified by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), ensures academic progression for students <\/span><\/a><\/span>pursuing bachelor\u2019s degrees in education. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Under this agreement, students at SUSCC will benefit from concurrent enrollment in GSW courses over a two-year period. Upon completion of their associate\u2019s degree at SUSCC within this timeframe, eligible students will transition to GSW, with the opportunity to transfer up to 50% of their required credits for their chosen education program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both Southern Union and Georgia Southwestern are looking forward to the inaugural Fall semester under this initiative. The deadline for Fall registration is July 1st, 2024.
