On<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Friday<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>m<\/span><\/span>orning<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>June 28<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> 202<\/span><\/span>4<\/span><\/span>, Agents of the Chambers County Drug Task Force\/Alabama Drug Enforcement Drug Task Force (Region D)<\/span><\/span> and<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>the <\/span><\/span>Chambers County Swat Team<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>executed a search warrant at <\/span><\/span>3434 38<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span> Avenue SW<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>in <\/span><\/span>Lanett<\/span><\/span>, Alabama, the <\/span><\/span>residence of<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Jaquezmon McCray<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Agents <\/span><\/span>S<\/span><\/span>eized <\/span><\/span>Marijuana, Scales and a Money Counter.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Other items<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>were<\/span><\/span> also seized.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

While at this residence<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> Jaquezmon McCray struck the Chambers County Swat Team<\/span><\/span> on two different <\/span><\/span>o<\/span><\/span>ccasions<\/span><\/span> with his vehicle<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span>Jaquezmon McCray also struck a <\/span><\/span> <\/span>Chambers County Drug Task Force Vehicle and a Chambers County Deputy Patrol<\/span>Vehicle.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

While striking all the vehicles<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> Jaquezmon McCray struck <\/span><\/span>one Drug Task Force Officer <\/span><\/span>with his vehicle and drove in the direction of several other Swat Team Members.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The following subject w<\/span><\/span>as<\/span><\/span> arrested and charged:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Jaquezmon Raynard McCray<\/span><\/span>, age <\/span><\/span>36<\/span><\/span>, of <\/span><\/span>Lanett<\/span><\/span>, Alabama: <\/span><\/span>Possession of Marijuana 1<\/span><\/span>st<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Attempted Murder<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Certain Person<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span> Forbidden to Possess Firearm<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Attempting to Elude<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jaquezmon McCray <\/span><\/span>was<\/span><\/span> transported to the Chambers County Detention Facility. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
