Auburn, Ala. – <\/span>On Oct. 26, 2023, Auburn Police responded to the area of Highway 29 S and Distribution Dr about a traffic accident involving a pedestrian. First responders located the victim suffering from injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Life-saving measures were performed but were unsuccessful. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim was later identified as a 36-year-old female from Auburn.<\/span><\/p>\n

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. The case remains under investigation by Auburn Police.<\/p>\n
