Mr. Leroy Evans, 79 of Stockbridge, GA, formerly of Camp Hill, AL passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Evans will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, 1:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Lovely Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL, Pastor Bernard Harris, Officiating, Reverend Samuel Evans, Eulogist.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Evans is survived by his wife of 40 years Ruth Sims-Evans; his children: Bentzell Evans of Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Flowers of Boston, MA, Theresa Owens (Kevin) of Columbus, OH, Cassandra &  Steven Sims of Knoxville, TN; <\/span>brother, Nathaniel Evans of Stamford, CT; sisters, Joan Farrow (Samuel) of Stockbridge, GA and Jessie Evans of Camp hill, AL, favorite cousins, Danny Evans of Camp Hill, AL, Peggy and Toney Tinsley of Boston, MA; favorite brother-in-law, Samuel, Farrow of Boston, MA; grandchildren: Kevin, Troy, Malik, James, Javon, Kendrell, Kyrell, Luv, Tyrence; three great grandchildren, Kaliyah, Kamiah, and Adonis; nephews, George Jr., Michael, Mark, Terry, Alfrado, Corey, Wayne, and Brian; nieces: Kathy, Monica, Jessica, Lisha, and Robin, a host of cousins and friends.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
