A proud graduate of Southern Union, she continued her studies at Berea College in Kentucky and went on to earn her master&#8217;s degree from Auburn University. Her academic pursuits nearly culminated in a Doctorate degree from Auburn, where she lacked only four hours of completion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #444444; font-family: &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px !important; margin: 0px 0px 10px;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">&nbsp;Professionally, Susan was synonymous with commitment. For nearly three decades, she served the Lanett City School System, retiring as their Federal Programs Administrator. Her contributions were a testament to her dedication to education and her belief in making a difference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #444444; font-family: &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px !important; margin: 0px 0px 10px;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Susan was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church in Union Hill, Alabama. She found joy in piecing together stories of the past, much like the intricate puzzles and crossword puzzles she delighted in solving. Her love for engaging with current events kept her tuned into Fox News regularly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #444444; font-family: &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px !important; margin: 0px 0px 10px;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">&nbsp;Susan&#8217;s immediate family, who brought her immense pride and happiness, survives her. She was the beloved wife of Jimmy J. Hudson, and a nurturing mother to Sharon L. Henderson (Tim) and Jason B. Hudson. Her love also extended to her nieces and nephews, Todd Looser (Dianne), Hope Walker (Donnie), and Jody Looser, and their families. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan M. and Ivis R. Looser, and brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy D. A private family graveside will follow in Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Chris Roberts will officiate.
