Her list of special friends is too long to list, she made everyone feel special. Her village that she called at any time were, Katie Carey, Ruby Walker, Minnie Holloway, Hazel Woods, and Myron Fears, all of Lanett, AL, Paul Moss of South Carolina, and Carolyn Farmer of Birmingham, AL.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Mrs. Katie Ruth (Payne) Walton, 82 of Lanett, AL passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 in Birmingham, AL.
